Nuclear

As in fossil fuel power generation, Nuclear power generation utilizes steam to produce electricity. The difference is the manner in which the steam is produced. In fossil plants, coal, oil, or gas is used to heat water and produce steam. To produce the steam in a Nuclear application, uranium is used to heat the water.

Therefore, the heat transfer equipment used for Nuclear power generation is very similar to that of a fossil fuel application. This equipment can be designed, fabricated, and installed new per customer specification or rebuilt and serviced by AM-EX field specialists:

• Feedwater Heaters

• Main Steam Condensers

• Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers
